You thought the day would never come, but before you can catch your breath, you and your future spouse are standing together in front of the people you love. In the middle of saying your vows, your voice catches as you see your mother’s tears, and you struggle to hold back your own. At the reception, your father offers a toast complete with that awful joke, but somehow it’s perfect.
